The pieces are the components which combine to give Pius X life: students, faculty, academic and social activities. The depth and quality of the school mosaic depends on how smoothly these living pieces fit together. Each year the relationship between students and fac- ulty, students and activity, changes-thereby changing the mosaic. is We have chosen the pattern, or the mosaic for our theme: for against the outline of school buildings, students and instructors have worked together particularly well, sports activities have molded themselves with all-time-high recordsg scholastic en- deavor has reached new heights, and the ideal Christian education was lived-not merely talked about. While we, students and instructors, continually endeavor to live more fully the piece for which we are destined, we remember that only in Eternity will this mosaic be complete-for only then shall we truly fit into the pattern of the Divine Plan destined for each, from all Eternity. 3
