if .W rincipal' essage Dear Students of Pius X: The pride that each royal member of our school feels in reviewing the accomplihments of the past, and particularly this year, is a pardon- able one. The fast growth of the school, the quick spread of its buildings, the phenomenal success of its graduates have swelled the breasts of all who have participated in the development of Pius X. This pride is tempered by the consideration that all that has been done was the work of God, under whose guidance His Eminence, Cardinal Mclntyre, was inspired to build the largest Catholis high scho in the western Unitd States. The dedication of personnel to e goal of Saint Pius X, torestore all things in Christ, has received its greatest impetus from the blessing of our Cardinal-Archbihop, indicated in his constant fatherly guidance. We must be true to this manifest trust placed in us. We must all make Pius X High School an outstanding school in every respect, where Christlike virtues are learned to an exceptional degree,-not only learned, but practiced to such an extent that every Pius X student will personally reflect the nobility of a follower of Christ.
