Resuming the yearbook at Pius Xl after a lapse of two years, due to the war-time conditions and shortages, The Pionian is again making its appearance. . .Seniors from the past two years were given some place. . .and past activities were reviewed in part. . .lt was a joy to resume the task.. .to record lest they be lost . . .to give friends and associates the gift of happy schoolday memories... Students attending this year have the privilege of keeping close to themselves the classmates and friends with whom they chummed and laughed and played. . .sang and prayed. . .The editors thus present the treasure which they hope will long retain thoughts of years gone by. . . 4 With pen and paper, films, floods, and fixtures, we set about to alean those things which make life at Pius pro- fitable and pleasina to its students.
