This year, more than ever, Pitzer students are proving that they are in charge of their own lives. Pitzer stu- dents now have self-gover- nance and we are proving that we are up to the chal- lenge. Pitzer students work to make sure that their community is the best that it can be. We are con- cerned not only with our own area, but the world around us as a whole, in- volving ourselves in such issues as South African apartheid, events in Nica- ragua, and Soviet Refusen- iks.
