A resounding meeting between hockey stick and ball in the crisp autumn airg a swish as a ball slides through a mesh hoopg the pounding of racing feet along the base path - these sounds are characteristic of GAA in their respective seasons. But the spirit of the group is not seasonal. The Fri- day games are open to all interested girls in the high school. Lowly freshmen and mighty seniors are members of the sam team. Under the simple disguise of fun, cooperation and skills and new friendships are formed. The Hockey Team, eaptained by Sandi Franklin, com- piled a record of four wins, five losses, and one tie. While competing in the annual Finger Lakes Hockey Association Sportsday at Harley, Susan DeLaney, Carol Hopkins, Gail Dennis, and Valerie Shea of the Varsity Team were selected as sectional all-stars.
