'K Toreworb S WE, the Class of 1950, in bidding final adieu to our alma 1nater, look back with fondest memories upon those pleasant, but altogether too fleeting years spent within its ivy-covered walls, we hope that we have not failed in setting this important milestone on the hundredth anniversary of our school. As the theme for this Yearbook, we have chosen the hundred years which have elapsed since the first class in 1850 passed through the portals of a small, crudely built school to embark upon the great educational adventure. These hundred years have been years of growth and progress, of hope, hard work, and accomplishment. It is our hope that in the century now beginning, Pittsfield High School may maintain its high standards and go on to new and richer achievement.
