Yes, beneath New Hampshireskies of blue, our high school stands. It stands high on a hill, well-rooted in our memory. The architecture and verdant landscaping recall the atmosphere of books, friends, and high school life. We can reminisce about the sportive, the scholastic, the unforgettable. Pittsfield High School is set near the lowest cloud overlooking Merrimack county. It is a man-made part of our mountain range.- The beauty of the world can be seen in the distance -- the celestial horizon of activity. Our high school wears a wall to wall rug of green in the spring and white carpeting in the winter. The perennial greens oQ:ur pines, the snow covered walks in winter, the blue skies and pink shiny faces with dull black books afford a prism of our reflections. The erection of this new landmark has added to the utilization of our community. Yes, we can trod on down the hill of learning with fond recollections of patient teach- ers, trying terms, gab fests, fond friends and the wealth of wisdom we've acquired within the high school walls. With loyal lips and loyal hearts we unite in songs of praise.
