We were represented in Student Council by Kristin Andress. Cindy Daniels, Tommy Hobbs, Frank McCartney, Lori Parkins, and Gretchen Rush. The members of the Junior class who represented us in the Homecoming Court were Melanie Dean and Nancy Smith. We had four selling projects this year. We sold M £ M’s, Rex All-Purpose cleaner, magazines, and glassware for Prom. These projects raised over $2,000.00 for our class. We also had a raffle during football and basketball. We raffled an afghan, a counted-cross-stitched Indian, a pillow, and a couple of knitted butterflies, all of which were donated to our class. When our selling projects were done, we started to plan for Prom. It was held at the Legion again this year. There was a dinner along with a formal dance. The informal was held at the Bowling Place where we bowled, danced to the band, The Cheeters, and watched a movie entitled, ALL OF ME. For the Formal this year we had a D.J. for entertainment. Our Prom court consisted of Cindy Daniels, Melanie Dean, Jennifer Hayden, Tina Hobbs, and Gretchen Rush for the girls. The guys were Jeff Hayden, Tommy Hobbs, Frank McCartney, Mike Miller, and Paul Petty. This year our royalty ran in the blood as Tina and Tommy took away the crown and scepter. We would like to thank everyone that helped us plan our Prom and a special thanks to our sponsor, Mr. DeVries. 35 Good Luck to the 1985 Senior Class! We've sponsored many projects, made a lot of money, and had a lot of fun. Two of our money making projects were a concession stand at the I.H.S.A. Regional Speech Contest here in Pittsfield and M M sales. We were represented in the Student Council by Matt Elledge, Robin Krueger, Lisa McCartney, Kim Orr, and Lyn Taylor. Lori Hoover and Tobi Steinberg were our sophomore cheerleaders, and Heather Scheiwe was our Junior Varsity mascot. Our Homecoming attendants were Becky DeVine and Lori Hoover.
