SENIOR CLASS At last, we’re finished! Although at times it seemed impossible, we never doubted that the end of our high school days would arrive. This years senior class officers were Vice-president. Cathy Sandidge; Treasurer. Jeff Dempsey; Secretary. Barb Robertson and the slave-driving but good-hearted President Joe Weir. Magazine sales were a success, so to speak, with our high sales person being Julie Dodd. Our concession stands during football and basketball season and our stand during the noon hour helped to give us a financial boost. Our homecoming queen was Tammy McConnell and her senior attendants were Anita Strother. Barb Robertson. Gina Prentice. Mary Ann Hubbard, Chris Barton. Donna Phillips and honorary attendant Jane Lowe. Our student council members were: Sam Ferguson. Bob Bigley. Julie Dodd. Jan Dodd, and Mary Iftner. They were led by their brave and ferocious president Bobbie Dorow. Our varsity cheerleaders who did a fine job of cheering our Saukees on to victories were: Gina Prentice. Jonie Frazier. Stephanie Smith and Jane Lowe. Our single Saukette who also did an excellent job was Teresa Lanhum. Bobbie Dorow received the D.A.R. award and Sam Ferguson was the recipient of the S.A.R. award. Danforth Foundation award winners were Joe Weir and Nancy Clostermery. We’d like to thank Mr. Johnson for the help he has given us throughout the year and especially the encouragement he gave us to pursue our idea of going on an overnight senior trip, at a time when all hope seemed lost. Our goal was achieved and the class of ’77 became the first P.H.S. class in 10 years to go on a 48-hr. trip. A special thanks to all those who made our last year at P.H.S. and our trip to Schuss Mountain memorable events to look back on. Good luck to each in whatever you may choose to do. 26
