Luz Maria rides in the Fall Festival. Luz Maria Jordan Astaburuaga Luz Ma’s Year With Us Luz Maria at the Christmas assembly. Luz Maria Jordan was the P. H. S. foreign student for 1968 -69. She was from Talca, Chile and resided with the Dr. C. J. Voelker family in Pittsfield. During her year here, Luz Maria was in People-to -People, Student Council, F. H. A., and was inducted into the National Honor Society. Her other interests include bicycling, sewing, and just plain walking. When Luz Maria finishes her high school education, she will attend the University in Santiago, Chile to study Law. It has been a most enjoyable year having Luz Ma with us. We hope that she will take back to Chile many memories of her days here. We wish her the best of luck and hope that some day she may visit us again. Luz Maria and Lars arrive at Prom.
