KICK? UM! X fwwkiigfsilggi PROPHECYJ970 f ,, , It has been a beautiful day for the jet-cycle races here at Madison Square Gardens in New York. Richard Xt Jennings and Ronnie Johnson, members of the Buzz Buzz Gang won most of the races. Oop Killer Motley, Heavyweight Champion of the World, will defend his title here at the Gardens next Wednesday night, Sure would like to see the fight but Rosie Craigmiles and I are going to be touring the country on our jet- cycles to see some more of our old friends who were in the class of '55, Of course, everyone knows that that was the best class to ever go to P,H.S, in Pittsfield, Illinois. Well, here we are, skimming over the highways and our first stop is Brooklyn. We heard that David Dell is pitching for the new baseball team, the Sluggers, who have a game with the Dodgers today. And look who's selling knotholes to the kids for 542 apiece, It's nobody else but Bill Hopkins, After watching the Sluggers win 30-O we are on our way to Boston, Mass, Here we find Margaret Smith still looking around for a member of the Boston Tea Party, Leaving Boston and going on to Pennsylvania we see Curt Aiken. He tells us that he is a foreman over 60 girls in the Tunnel of Love Coal Mine. Looks as if he is doing quite well for himself. Niagara Falls is our next stop where we see Beverly McKinney and Jack Barber, now Mr, and Mrs., celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary by going over the falls again in a barrel, Their five little ones are throwing rocks at them. After waving to Bev and Jack we stop to say hello to Mr, and Mrs. Larry Payne who are on their honeymoon. Mrs, Payne is the former Sandra Myers, In Detroit, Michigan, we meet Larry Graham and John Webel, They are the designers of the '70 jet mobiles, From Detroit we go to Chicago. Going by a big department store we see a mattress display in the window. Who is modeling it ----- none other than Birdie Swearingen. While at the Junky Jewel night club we see Erlene Hammitt, Evelyn Robertson, and Betty McKenna putting on a floor show. DOWn by Lake Michigan we see Chick Conger and Edwin Predmore getting ready to try to cross the lake in a tub. Chick says they'll make it as long as the tub doesn't leak, From Chicago we mosey down to Pittsfield, the old home town. Bob Frazier is now full owner of the Sit 'Em While U Fit 'Em shoe store which used to be Keintzle's. He and his wife QBonnie Lashmettj have eight little boys running around getting into mischief. Of course, Pittsfield has grown quite a bit in 15 years and one new place of business is the Twist of the Wrist Judo Studio. Zoe Benson is the head teacher, Right next door we find Dennis Heavner giving mambo lessons, We're told that they both do a lot of business. After lingering in Pittsfield a couple of days, we back-tracked to Wisconsin where we visited Harry Reel and Wally Renoud on their Lazy Cow Dairy Farm, Carroll Baughman, Kenneth Cooley, and Gail Norton are work- ing for them and Carol Claus is their housekeeper. Stopping next in South Dakota we were surprised to see Shirley Holmes fnow Mrs. McAllisterj mayor of a small village called McAllisterville, The only citizens are Mr, and Mrs, McAllister, the ten little McAllisters, and their pets. In a nearby town we learned that Eluzabeth McHose is touring with Liberace. They will make an appearance there soon but we could not stay to see the performance. In Montana we see the former Nancy Nicholson driving a Cadillac, That was her life's ambition, she said, so she married Better Deal Sam, a Cadillac dealer. Our next stop is Washington where we pause to watch Junior Smith and Taylor Fox launch their new ship. They built it to go around the world in but since it sank they'll have to start all over again. Passing through Oregon we arrived in California where we see Jim Lowe, Ralph Arnold, and Jerry Dell, who just bought a grapefruit grove, They plan to dye the grapefruits and sell them as the biggest and best oranges ever grown. In Hollywood, Connie Moore and Helen Winston are battling over which of them will take Marilyn Monroe's place in the movies. Connie received a letter from Donna Moore and Beverly Ionson the other day. Seems they are doing quite well with their Chille Restaurant down in Chile, South America, Agnes Norton is now Liz Tay1or's double and when Miss Taylor gets old and wrinkled Agnes is going to take her place all together, While watching TV we see that Trudy Jackson has her own show, She has changed her name to Juanty Jackie Jackson.
