Now is the time we're moving on— Into the world, so big and cold. To struggle while we're growing old. On to college, on to work, To do our duty, but never shirk. Great success is to be our aim. We hope to win the world's acclaim. Some will be lawyers or soldiers brave. Or doctors, with many lives to save — Or nurses, merchants, tinkers, tailors. Or housewives, typists, bookkeepers, sailors. Some will win and some will not. Some will be good and some not so hot. Our successes will bring to you A feeling of pride and accomplishment, too. You will know you had a hand In making us part of the triumphant band. All our failures will make you sad. But we hope you'll remember us, good or bad. We'll never forget you, Pittsfield High.
