Voshall The Student Council has been very active this year in Pittsfield Community High School under the guidance ot Miss McGuire and Mr, Voshall. Cn November 4, representatives were sent to the District Meeting ot the Student Council at Pekin, lllinois. They were Vickie Ducey, leanne Stumborg, Dale Willard, Bob Brace, lrl Robinson, Bill Howell and Miss McGuire. The Student Council decided the school should have a new Service Board which they bought with the money that was donated to them by the student body and a iewltriends ot the school. The council has taken charge ot all school parties held at the school. At one party the Student Body was charged a small tee to get into the dance. With this new records were bought and put on the music box. Pop was sold at the parties along with other refreshments. The Student Council has cooperated during the past year with the ad- ministration ot the school in helping to tormulate school policies which the student body has willingly endorsed. The student body feels that the splendid cooperation between the school administration and the Student Council this year has helped to bring about a much better organized and disciplined school. M iss Lee Flashl I I I Extral The Saukee Scoops Staff has finished another success- ful year of weekly publications through the courtesy of both Pike County Newspapers. The staff is made up of members of the Creative English Class and is under the sponsorship of Miss Lee. We published a 22 page Christmas edition composed of the best Christmas stories and poems, both humorous and serious, written by all English classes of P. C. H. S. lt is the aim of the staff to keep the student body informed on the current happenings as well as to provide a means for the parents to keep up with the hurried and busy curricula of school life. An earnest endeavor is also made to provide humorous and entertaining reading matter as well as educational. We Wish the future staffs the best of success in their endeavors. Thirty
