STUDENT COUNCIL President...........................................MACK TUCKER Vice President. ........................................BOB ROWE Secretory................................BONNA REE BORROWMAN Treasurer.....................................VERNA MAE SHEPHERD The Student Council was chosen by a vote of the student body which elected a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer with a representative of each class elected by the class. Its purpose is to represent the student body by receiving plans and suggestions from other students on how to make life more pleasant and enjoyable. They plan parties and entertainments for the school. The Student Council wrote letters of appreciation to schools backing us during the tournaments in Pittsfield and the quarter-finals at Springfield. They sponsored a Freshman party and many other parties during the year. The Council tried different plans to draw larger crowds to our basketball games and was very successful. Twelve
