Screen influences , fashions The fashions of today's college students are affected by many different things. Some of these are fads, music, weather and the environment. But the biggest effect on fashions has to be the silver screen. This year's block busters, Flashdance and Staying Alive have brought a lot of changes to the fashion world of 1983. I think that whatever a person feels most comfortable wearing is what is in style at PSU, said Chris Jones, Riverton junior. The fall fashions opened with the tailored look.
