Intramurals offer a variety of outside activities and even a bull session in a dorm room or a corner in the Union provides relief from the books.

President Axe Guides KSC President Leonard H. Axe continues his program of serving the student, the faculty and the friends of Kansas State College of Pitts- burg as president of the school. Dr. Axe in his years as chief administrator of the school has changed the complexion of the school towards bigger and better facilities. These facilities include not only the physical plant but the mental state of learning for the student. President Axe's duties include leading the faculty, physically as well as academically, meeting with various student groups for frank and open discussions, and representing the school in talks, addresses, as well as talking to the student body at various convocations. The president's presence is felt on campus in a much greater way, however. His constant devotion to his job and the relentless manner by which he pursues the goals that have been set forth for the school, makes him respected by all the students. With an untiring leader, devoted to his work, and the school, Kansas State College of Pittsburg will continue to grow together with the size of the student body in the areas of physical plant, academic standing, research capabilities-and unified spirit of learning. - President Axe leads the college in all facets. President Axe addresses the student body Informal sessions with students provide for better under standing. hmm..
