Increased Enrollment For Business Department Approximately 725 students majored this year in business administration. This represents a 275 per cent enrollment increase in the department during the past ten years. Various members of the department faculty par- ticipate and are leaders in professional and civic or- ganizations, do consulting work for business firms in the area and write for business periodicals. As a service to the area, the department sponsors short-term seminars and conferences for business, industrial and teacher organizations. Members of the teaching staff frequently serve as discussion lead- ers for these events. Chapters of various national professional business organizations are available for majors and minors in the KSC business department. They include: Alpha Kappa Psi, professional business fraternity for men: Pi Omega Pil national honorary business education fraternityg Phi Beta Lambda, international future business leaders of Americag Society for the Advance- ment of Managementg and the National Collegiate Secretaries Association.
