For the Rolla game on October l, the campus was host to cheerleaders and senior students from surrounding high schools. Such occasions as these give seniors an opportunity to become acquainted with aspects-of college life. Parents of K-State students were honored at the Maryville game on October 8. During the Hhalff' the Student Assembly president introduced dads who had received special recognition. These dads were Ed Quinn, oldest alumg Joseph Pine, who came the farthest distance 1900 milesjg Walter' Brown, father of the most children now attending the col- lege, Henry Bradley, 72, oldest father, and Hearl Maxwell, 36, youngest father. During the weeks of football, some Mickey Mouse fan affixed a caricature of his Hhcron on the clock at the Student Center.
