No one picture can capture the many expressions of Presi- dent Leonard H. Axe, administrative head and inspiring leader of this institution. Since his inauguration in 1957 he has initiated extensive programs which have vastly improved the status and reputation of this college. Under his continued leadership and guidance our college is destined to take a place among outstanding midwestern colleges and universities. Dr. Axe has gained the respect and admiration of faculty and students alike by virtue of his forthright attitude, co- operative spirit, and sense of fairness to all. We are privileged to have a man of Dr. Axe's stature in our midst and extend to him our best wishes for continued success.
