That the College program has been affected by the War may be seen readily when one notices the ,College Honor Roll, the Gold Star Roll, the prominent place accorded the Navy V-12 unithere on the campus and the returned veterans, who are enrolled under Public Law 16 and 346. , . , However, the yearbook also pictures many campus activities and organiza- tions that are usually associated with the College in any year. Former students, especially, will enjoy seeing the present group of members irl those organiza- tions where their interests once centered. T This edition of the Kanza takes its place beside the many fine volumes of previous years. It is to be hoped it will prove interesting to all who have been a part of the College during this school year, and valuable through the years ahead as a source of happy memories of K. S. T. C. Q

Under the age limit regulations of the board Of' TGCJGIUS. DF. Dellm'-'Jer will retire luly l, after thirty-six years ot devoted service to this institution. khs years ot tenure from 1909 to 1945 have made him part and parcel of the College, and part- time duty with the faculty, after Iuly 1, will guarantee his continued interest in K.S.T.C., its program, and its students. Dean Iennie C. Walker is back on the campus after a year of graduate study at Northwestern University in the field of personnel and guidance. Her varied background of training and experience and her great inter- est in college students make her a most sympathetic and understanding Dean of Women. Dean of .Men and Director of Per- sonnel is Dr. George D. Small's rotti- cial title. Indicative of the place he holds with the students, however, is the fact that he is George to most college people.
