Secretary' Mr Clyde Hartford State Boys Organizer' Principal John L England' chairman of advisors' Mr. Claude I. Huffman former sponsor' and Mr J L. Hutchinson Principal Emeritus. Chapters met in individual groups this year with one general assembly each month. The presidents of the chapters divided the responsibility for the general assembly. For the second time in the history of Kansas Hi-Y a model legislature was held in Topeka Kansas. This group was composed of representatives from the various Hi-Y chapters in the state. Bill Nulton was elected governor. PHS representatives were Bill Nulton, Eugene Liebig Harold Brown, and William England. About eighteen boys attended the district convention which was held in Columbus. Mr. Sutton of the high school staff and Mr. Lampton of the Lakeside Junior High School st ff accompanied the boys. In February an all-out sectional conference was held at the First Baptist Church in Pittsburg. Two hundred boys from Hi-Y Clubs attended. Reverend Dale Turnerst of Lawrence, Kansas, was the principal speaker. The groups have enjoyed several social functions during the year some of which have been given with the Y-Teens.
