'Q od' by Sylvia Bocanegra lmagine combining two classes with a total enrollment of +967 students. Everone participating in different functions some involved in committees others writing or drawing layouts. You would think there would be total chaos, people here, there, everywhere. lt would be impossible right? Wrong, Pittsburg High was very fortunate to have .loan Foster and Frank Pizzimenti coordinate the two classes, Publications and Student Leadership. Joan Foster is currently teaching English lll C.P. and Publications. She has been teaching at Pittsburg High 10 years and has advised Publications for 7 years. What makes her so special is that she does everything in her power to publish the Pirate yearbook each year. She never asks to be thanked, for without your advising it would have never become success. Frank Pizzimenti is frequently called a Workaholic as he advises the U.S. Travel Club: is a member of the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Pirates, directs the Student Leadership class and makes sure that everything runs smoothly, and this year is a parent to one of our foreign exchange students. Jean-Pierre. g Publications and Student Leadership commend Mr. Frank Plzzimenti and Mrs. Joan Foster for their willing support, and help to the entire student body. They do an outstanding job and are well respected teachers as well as friends to many students. Most of all, they show us, Where there is a will, there is a way. L 1.
