Team inishes 5-2- 1 by Teresa Krut The freshmen team was strong, defenslve, and tough and ended the season with 5 wins, 2 losses, and 1 tle. Coach John Abono tralned the athletes and they tried very hard against all odds. Their most dlfflcult and challeng- Ing game was against rival Antioch. That day was not a good one as valuable player Cralg Plneda sus- talned a shoulder Injury and was taken away by ambulance. Andy Trias commented, Un- fortunately, we just kept fumbling that day and lost 27-0. I thought it was a very successful season.
