Syzlia gocanegra Jalan KPUIILJ .J4llJl'9R gflllllfl .fdllgfltl igfflllfll Ar lasr, we are seniors by Annette Ramirez enior life for the class of 1985 began in September and came to an end in June. Many of the last activities seemed the most memorable of our high school years. It seemed like high school went by so fast. First, students couIdn't wait to get out, then as time sped by, one wondered where it all went. Seniors realized they grew up and it was time to make decisions for life. Steve Watson said, This year seemed a lot better then my past years: it's a lot more exciting and the Freshman girls are a lot cuter. Kim Caddow remarked, Our senior year appeared to be our best year since it was our last year together, before we go our separate ways. Kelly Glover answered, This year seemed special because we've grown closer together in the last four years and we have become like a family, helping each other. ir Longer days become reality by Patti LaCasse he State Department of Education and the school board lengthened the school day. Different opinions floated around school about the longer day. Lots of seniors asked. Why not next year? Others felt it benefited them to go to school longer. Robert Williams stated, lt's wonderfull Danny Carpeneloo argued. lt's lousy! Some felt the difference as they became tired quicker. Staci Moran exclaimed, l didn't like it because Perform- ing Arts had rehearsals after school and we had to stay later. Rozen Rayroa added. l thought it was good because we received more education! ln time, seniors became used to it. They realized that they had to do their best the last year so they accepted the longer days. ,Xxx , K W K 5' ii I .szofl MUMIHLUIL gridyeffe Bef!
