Math Miguel Cortez ew Board toughens standards by Michelle Axel In the past, some students participating in school activities placed those activities ahead of their education. ln the fall, the 2.0, no F rule took effect, stating, Students participating In extra-curricular events must have a C average and no F's, preventing students from participating with low grades and made students aware of maintaining their grades. There were two exceptions, probation and extenuating circum- stances. A select committee ruled on each case, based on basic guidelines.
