Students Keep busy by Phllomena Cardinale Do you ever wonder what the purpose of school Is? Belleve It or not, It Is to receive an education. But along wlth that educatlon, a student participates In many Ielsure tlme and extra-currlcular actlvltles. Fall, wlnter, and sprlng sports were popular actlvltles for all students. Elther as a partlclpant or spectator, everyone enjoyed belng a PIRATE. Student government, clubs, trlps, and just plaln old relaxlng was very appealing to many ot the students. The SKI Club and USA Travel took thelr annual trlps whlch the students wlll cherlsh for the rest of their lives. Many students were actlve In PAC actlvltles, cholr, jazz band, plays, concert band, and classes designed for the performlng arts. Even though this year had some of the lowest attendence at the school dances, It was stlll a popular activity for a few students. No matter what the actlvltles may be, the students always found a way to keep busy. 1. Students stlll do the can venrlonal school tlme octlvlty - schoolwork. 2. Actlve members of PAC work ln their cholr class. J. Students enjoy the Uglyman Dance. 4. Plrate fans enjoy watching the champlonshlp basketball team. 5.
