Saliman said, The biggest differ- ence between here and my country ls size. Everything that you have here is larger. The main reason Saliman came to the U.S. was to improve his English, . . . and experience is the best way to learn anythingl Other languages he speaks are French, German, and Italian fluently. Saliman's hobbies included snow skiing, Ccompetition and perfor- mancej, tennis, racquetball, dancing, and going to parties. Joachim Peter agreed with Jean- Pierre in the U.S.'s massiveness, like . . . when you take a walk here the landscape doesn't change that much, but lf you take a walk in Germany the landscape changes all the time. Peter said . . . schools in the U.S have a lot of pride and school spirit which is unlike schools in Germany because schools in Germany concen- trate on the school work, you go to school to learn. He also added that the schools in the U.S. let you specialize in certain fields of your choice whereas in Germany they don't. Some of Peter's hobbies Included culture, literature, and pointing. Other languages he spoke were Italian, German, Swabian, and French. After graduating Peter would like to travel around the U.S. and visit other countries as well.
