Week lacks real spirit by Theresa Krut Spirit Week was all but spirited. The only two popular days were 501 Day and Jersey Day, probably because every day was 501 and Fridays were traditionally jersey days. There was little participation for Neon Day, Celebrity Day, and Nerd Day. It was thought that poor planning resulted in students' lack of spirit. Some believed that Halloween inter- ferred with students dressing for the specific days. At a student leadership meeting, Martin Aries, said, I did not see one sign up to tell me what was going rr On. 1. Kevin Confetti leads La5hon Craig, Mike Crespo, Mlke George, and Brian Lloren, carrying the Pathers' coffin at the Antioch rally. 2. Sherry Stlgllch leaps with jo y off of Krlstlne Styers' prize winning flat. 3. Mia Fabella shows her spirit as she portrays the dead Panther at the Antioch rally. 4. On Nerd Day, Jlmm y Jones displays his Bobby Sherman lunch pail. 5. Sheryl Puckett enters the Student Service Center on Nerd Day. 6, Margie Acuno hopes to sell candy to more Nerds. SPIRIT WEEK
