.Sophs enhance cafeteria by Lldla Stigllch and Phllomena Cardlnale Through the great efforts of the sophomores, the humble cafeteria became transformed. The Class of 1967 Proudly Presents . . were the first words that came to mind regarding the So- phomore Hope. Neon and pastel streamers were every where, as students danced to the muslc played by Futuristic Beat. When the theme song, This is My Nlght was played, two balloon bags on the celllng opened and showered dancers wlth balloons, confetti, and smlles. More than 100 students danced the nlght away to a varlety of old and new hlts, such as Sugar Walls and My Boyfrlend's Back . Many left reluctantly as the lights went out at 11:00, wlth thelr bright green programs tucked safely away under thelr arms. Some carrled balloons, or cor- sages, but upon departure, so- phomores carrled happy memorles. The theme was, Welcome to the Pleasure Dome . 1. Josie Vera performs ln Nlte Club Tonlte. 2. Sosly Budge and Evette Castillo laugh at one of the Nlte Club tonlte acts. 3.
