Clubs attract members by Danielle Nichols Mu Alpha Theta Club promoted mathematical Interests and sponsored many math competitions. Presiding offlcers were: David Jeans. president. Suzanne Becker, vice-president, Kearson Malmgren, secretary. Brent Bertcll, treasurer, and Hector Perez-Pacheco, ICC representa- tive. Mr. Bill Sullenberger advised the club. California Scholastic Federation CCSFJ has spnosored the CSF Club for our natIon's top academic students who have and can maintain a 3.5 gpa through their high school years. Presiding officers were: Philomen- a Cardlnale, president, Linda Nanei, vice-president, Kim Leuschner, sec're- tary, and Colleen Parent, ICC rep. Ms. Jackie Lloyd advised CSF. The Computer Club met every Monday offering a wide range of computer skills in the areas of programming and world processing. Presiding officers were: Terrance Koontzy, president, Patrick DeWerI-r, vice-president, Anthony Johnson, treasurer, Glna Alexander and Karen Johnson, secretaries, Jo Acedillo and Daryle Slmonds, ICC reps. Clubs serve interests by Theresa Krut Key Club served the school and community. Colleen Parent, a member for 2 years said, We had a slow start at the beginning of the year, but we hope to have a better second semester. Presiding officers were: Ake Crews, president, Colleen Parent, vice-president, and Cynthia Russell, secretary. Mr. Dave Littleton advised the club. Another service club was S Club which did a food drive, candy and flower sales. Presiding officers were: Lorraine Harris, president, Rowena Hilado, vice president, Sylvla Bocanegra, secretary, Roger Baclig, treasurer, and Kevin Williams, ICC rep. Mr. Frank Plzzlmentl odvlsed the club along with Gloria Hunt ond Donna Goddis. Cartoonist Club provided a learning experience for young artists. CLUBS
