SBOD works for school by Philomena Cardinale Do you ever wonder what goes on ln The Student Leadership Class? Let's clear this up. To begln, the class, along with the SBOD CStudent Board of Directorsh worked a dally schedule, beginning the first part of the week meeting in committees. On Thursdays, they held their weekly meetings and Fridays were open for extra buslness. So, what did the committees accomplish? The Dance Committee put on the Plrateer and Uglyman dances: the Splrlt Committee produced many rallies wlth some of the largest turn-outs ever, and the Assemblies Committee had a program, Friday Nlght Llve, dlscouraglng people from drlnklng and drlvlng. These are only a few of the accomplishments of the class. The class was very large, wlth approximately 40 students: 15 board members and 25 class members. The SBOD consisted of 3 representatives from each class, 2 delegates-at-large and one school board representative. We had a good board this year, lots of new and younger people. Everyone had great ideas and wanted the best for the school, stated Theresa Hllado, SBOD pre- sldent. Presldlng officers were Hllado, president, Tracey Conlln, secretary, and James Jones, treasurer, Mr. Frank Plzzlmentl advised the SBOD and class. qi 3 STUDENT LEADERSHIP
