Frosh lead cheers by Alicia Moore It was another successful year for the Frosh cheerleaders as they got the crowds participating in the games. The girls had a lot of fun at cheerleading camp: they liked the routines and dances and the people who taught them. The girls won two excellent ribbons, a superior ribbon, an outstanding ribbon and a spirit award ribbon. The girls gave the players chocolate chip cookies, Gatorade, and Rlce-Krisples for treats. The cheerleaders said they had fun at the away games and the home games too: they met other cheer- leaders and other people. Eyvonne Beals one of the cheerleaders said she had always wanted to be a cheerleader. She was a mascot for PHS basketball and cheered for JFL for two years and has always been an energetic person. One of the best parts about cheering ls getting the crowd up and participating ln the game, said Lisa Salvettl. 1.
