Junior Red Cross Forms Council The Junior Red Cross of Pittsburg Senior High School organized this year a council for the purpose of participating in the many projects available to active Junior Red Cross Councils. From February 2-6 a publicity week took place with talks presented over the public address system each day. On Monday, February 9, each advisory elected two representatives from their group to represent them at council meetings. The council will meet twice a month and hold regular sessions, with the repre- sentatives working with their advisories to carry out plans of the council. The students were thus encouraged to participate in promoting peace and world friend- ship, the purpose of the Junior Red Cross. 9 xr L T' L, MRS. BLUM Advisor
