'Wider x s x , fx 5 Q-f JUDY CASTELLOTTI Editor-in-chief ELSIE BIACFARLANE Assistant Editor Staff Has Work and Fun The best yearbook yetf This was what the staff of the '59 Pirate strived for. There is a great deal more work inyolyed in putting out an annual than 'most people realize. There is a variety of odd jobs which must be done such as cropping pictures. making layouts for various ads. and drawing posters for the promotion of the yearbook. Persons unaware of the job of editing a yearbook were amazed at the activity in Room 105. Some saw Diana Magri scurrying to the adminis- tration building for a scrapbook. Uthers saw Don Harris drawing the artwork for ads or Pete Hernandez sketching the primary school. Judy Caste-llotti. Elsie Macfarlane. and Bart Carlson were active drawing dum- mies or reading proof. Preparing the yearbook was not all work with no play, however. After the work was done. the staff could be seen eating hot dogs and candy. This of course was not until they had produced what they hope is a very fine yearbook. JOETTE MILANO MRS. C1335 Senior Editor Advisor V?
