Pep Club forms a block letter P. Pep Club Pep, pep and more pep! this is the Pep club's motto. It is organized to promote sportsmanship and cheer the teams on to vic- tory. lt has one of the largest enrollments of any club in the school. Some of its trade marks are: wind-blown hair, sore throats and red noses. The last football rally was an exchange rally with Antioch. In the morning yell leaders, pom-pom girls, pirates, coaches, season co-captains, and Pep club president iourneyed to Antioch and they were met with a worm reception. Later in the day, Antioch student leaders iourneyed to Pittsburg. The Pittsburg rally will be remembered as one of the most enthusiastic in the school's history. The rally was highlighted with a yell given by Mr. Poe.

Throughout the year the rally committee vvorlcs at organ- izing and planning the rallies and Pep club activities. Six Pom-pom girls, three yell leaders, three little Pirates, and the president and secretary ot the Pep club make up the rally committee. Members ot the rooting section, who are also members ot the Pep club, are under the leadership ot the rally committee. Rallies, Rallies, Rallies! 1? 'wunm'

Cheerleaders The cheerleaders this year were full ot vim and vigor and stood out attractively in their orange and black gored skirts, black ierseys and white gloves. The cheerleaders were chosen at the end ot last year by the Student Body on qualities of ability and leadership. Every Friday night these girls were at the games giving everthing they've got.
