z 'P' Mrs. GIBBS Advisor Yearbook Class ROSE MAGAS Editor-in-Chief The Pirate Staff of ' 8 Not until this year has the annual been really a class, before having been an extra-curricular activity. The i958 Pirate represents the fine co- operation of the entire student body with the execu- tive group and staff. This year's book will be outstanding for this fact alone. The Pittsburg High School may well be proud that such an important step has been taken, and the true goal of the annual has been realized. Marietta Russo and her assistants solicited ad- vertisements from the townspeople and were very successful because of the fine co-operation of the community. Working as senior editor was Clara Roybal. Judy Castellotti and Mark Taves worked as iunior and sophomore editors respectively. Other members of the staff were as follows: Angela Cataldo, senior picture editor, Mary Jane Bruno, typist, Jodee Russell, art editor, Tony Aiello, assistant art editor, Tina DiMercurio, copy editor, and Danny Alfaro, sports editor. The staff worked under the direction of Rose Magas, editor, to produce what they hope is the best yearbook yet. MARILYN VAGLIENTE Assistant Editor
