As the sophomores cast an eye in retrospection they will have many happy memories. To sophomores high school lite is new, exciting, and adventurous. Sophomores, as well as the rest of the student body, attended a first-day assembly where Mr. Poe welcomed the sophomores and in- formed them of the rules of the school. For many sophomores the Junior Prom was their first formal dance, another exciting experience. The second dance of the year was the Sophomore Hop and Crowning of Miss Pirateer. Bruce Carlson began in January to plan decorations for the February 28 Sophomore Hop. The committee chairmen, under the direction of Mr. Joseph Lee, were Bruce Carlson, decorations, Sharon Rebstock, publicity, Betty Gobbey, favors, Jackie Knap, budget, Grace Ann Russo, refreshments, Diane Coray, entertainment, and Bart Carlson, cleanup. 4 ,
