Girls roved Their Agilit ,,,.-1 of Liv' Brenda Spoon held the attention of the speech class with her speech entitled, How Boys Like Girls with Long Hair. The freshmen girls' physical education class learned methods for improving their figures. 37 Becky Frecker, afreshman, displayed her athletic ability by climbing a rope.

Halls Were Cleaned . . Hauls Were Made During the night Cecil Gregory worked to get the school ready for the next day. FRONT ROW: Ronnie Ping, Steve Ping, mascot, Harold Smith, Billy Alexander. One of the many aims of the bus drivers at Pittsboro was to get the students safely to school on time. Problems Were Solved by Students and Teachers Cathy Dillon and Sam Settecasi worked in the library office to get new books ready to be put on the shelf. All books had to be numbered, stamped, and have cards. Many students volunteered for the job as librarian. xx Larry Herring and Richard Burger looked stumped, so , Mr. Curry came to the rescue with the right calculation in their mechanical drawing problem. During class, Mr. Compton took time out to help Martin Adams, one of his junior history students. 38
