Even though this state¬ ment by Lord Byron was made several hundred years ago, it is a statement that will always remain true. History is merely a continuous play in which the world is an im¬ mense stage, mankind is the cast, and life is the plot. From expe¬ riences in this fascinating and never-dying play, we are able to enrich our understanding of life. By connecting the actions of mankind in the past to present -day situations, the history department teachers are able to guide the students of today to be better leaders of tomorrow. 19

All high school boys have the opportunity in agriculture to learn better methods of farming and the skill of working with their hands. In comparison, the girls who take home economics receive fundamental training in household situations. The commercial courses offered at P.H.S. enable students to acquire a typing skill for personal use and to prepare students for careers in business administra¬ tion.
