Not only is there a more advanced study of the French language, but also the culture of the country is delved into by the students who are ambitious enough to undertake a third year of French. The meetings, which occur once a month, are prepared and carried out by the members themselves with only a minimum of help from the sponsor and teacher, Mrs. Kidd. This year, for the first time, the French Club held a French Day on which the members dressed as people from different French provinces. This proved to create much enthusiasm among the members and much talk around the school. This club is certainly one of the most active clubs in our school. This year the librarians are trying to promote the suggestion that we do not want little-read books in our little red school -house. All librarians have worked hard to process books and carry out the duties at the desk. Attractive posters and bulletin boards have been a val¬ uable contribution to the appearance of the library. If one needs to know the life of a specific author or if one needs to learn to use the card catalogue, there is an efficient helper--a librarian--there to aid him. L. Parker, F. Riddle, B. The school is wholly lifeless; Its halls are still and bare — The time has now grown nigh For sleep to enter there. . Then soon will come a new day, When school life will resume; But we will all be gone then Into the new life we ' ll assume. So time will go on passing As faces fade away; But the memories will remain Of a precious by-gone day. As you close this yearbook, A star we wish upon: That you ' ll look to the future As Time Marches On. u rin y years.
