P.H.S. 24— Carthage At Carthage, Griffin scored in the first. Freeman plunged in the second, then broke away on a long scorer in the third. Blair connected with Brasington in the fourth on a long aerial for the final score of the first victory. P.H.S. 26 -Coats Griffin started the action at Coats in the first with a plunge for the score . He again plunged in the second for score number 2; Freeman converted both extra points. Late in the second, Blair hit Brasington for the third score. Then, in the fourth, Blair intercepted a pass and scooted for the final score. Cheerleaders Center: June Peoples Chief Clockwise: Norris Jones Kay Mann Frances White Clegg Crawford Sue Womble Betsy Baldwin Ginny Burns Ruthie Norwood P.H.S. 19— Central Blair started strongly in the first quarter on home ground, when he hit Brasington on a long aerial for a T.D. Freeman broke away for scoring stints in the second and third quarters for the Homecoming victory! P.H.S. 34-Ramseur At Ramseur, Blair shot to Brasington in the first for score number one. Rigsbee recovered an end zone fumble for the second quarter score. A pass to Brasington in the third and a plunge by Freeman gave the Dragons a comfort- able lead. In the fourth, an end zone tackle by Bolejack for a safety and a long run by Freeman rounded out the game. 25
