Skl Trlp We all had fun on the ski trip even though we had our ltups and downs? Our Kincaid Coach, sleeper bus, rolled out of Pittmanls south lot around 4:30 P.M., Friday after- noon. After that, we spent thirteen long hours on the bus. When we linally got to our Win- ter Park YMCA Camp, about 6:00 AM. Saturday, we had our first look at oursum'que rooms. They were dormatory-style rooms, six people in each; it was very cozy. Af- ter everyone changed intoski cloth- es, it was off to breakfast. Now, the meals Were really something to taste, if you could tell what you were eating!! They were indescribable, some thought the school lunches were better! Once we got through the has- sle of getting skis, boots, and poles, it was up to the slopes. The moun- . tains were beautiful. Most of the be- ginners stayed on the Winter Park slopes, but the more daring at- tempted Mary J ane. For those with energy left, there were other activities like rol- ler skating, tubing, and the use of the gym. After two and a half days ski- ing everyone was sore and tired. But, then thereywas the long bus ride home. ' 10 Pittman Hills J unior' High ,7 MVWIJWAWWWfYWwaVWW v Hg iiUps an The Battle tween the fam freshmen took February 19 in gym.
