The Odd Couple The reporters on the Pan- ther Prowl staff have decided to have a special article this year. As youive probably noticed, its called ttThe. Odd Couple. We,ve taken two teachers out of the staff who would make a pretty odd couple and reported our findings to you. This months guinea pigs are Mrs. Markland and Coach J effries, bat- tling it out for another year. Being supporters of Womenis Lib, we didnit hesitate to ask Coach Jeffries some questions first. Q. What is one thing you hate about Mrs. Markland? A. Shels always opening her Grand Canyon and inserting her petite foot. Q. If Mrs. Markland were in a beauty contest against Godzilla and King Kong, who would take first, second and third places? A. King Kong would take nrst, Godzilla would be second, and Mrs. Markland would be fourth. Q. How could Mrs. Markland improve herself? A. Mrs. Markland could im- prove herself by saying goodbye and putting super glue on her lips and sealing them shut. Q. Why did you loan Mrs. Markland your jacket one day? A A. It was uBe Kind to Ani- mals Day. After the interview, Coach J effries commented that Mrs. Markland was tllucky to be in the Human Race? He also stated that Mrs. Markland could solve energy crises by filling the world with tthot airf, Next, it was Mrs. Marklandls turn; so she fired away. Q. What,s one thing you hate about Coach J effries? A. Whatls there to hate? Ilm a loving person. Q. If Coach J effries were in a beauty contest against Godzilla and King Kong, who would take first, second and third places? A. Ilm sure Coach J effries would be elsewhere a he doesnit understand TRUE beauty! Q. How could Coach Jeffries improve himself? A. Perhaps he could go to charm school and become a real charmer. Q. Why did he loan you his jac- ket one day? A. He was afraid the Pep Club sponsor would freeze to death and thereld be no one around to cheer for his basketball boys!
