Ives OTSWOT Iidueution is zm experience made up of many feelings :ind situations that will ereatc memories for all the years to come. That's why again and again we shall turn the pages ofthe 1970 TECHNO and know that the records Lind pliotogixtplis ot' this year will turn a brief spot- light on the people we knew and the things we did. The private details, those that only the book of the mind contain, we shall till in for ourselves - all the good feelings and had, the personal failures and triumphs, the small moments that stand out against the memory of one year. But the TECHNO can help remind us ofthe work, the frustration, the success. the pleasure, zuid the wonder that made Pitt Tech important to us. N, . Because of Mr. Morgan's loyalty, leadership, and hard work to provide service to all the students at Pitt Tech, we Want to say thank you for a job well done. 4 s , I on K .4 5 x X. X Douglas M. Morgan Pitt Technical Institute was visited in January of 1969 by a team of experts from across the state to make judgments conceming the quality of its educational program. Following this visit and evaluation by the State team, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools sent an eight-member team of competent vocational educators to assess Pitt Tech's program. The Institute responded with enthusiasm and vigor in attempting to improve its weaknesses which were pointed out in the evaluations made by both groups. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools announced at their animal meeting in December that Pitt Technical Institute has been accepted as a member of the Association and is fully accredited.
