TALISMA STAFF This, our last year in P. H. S., has been a busy one. Among our many activities was the publication of our year-book in which we have tried to tell the story of 1952-1953 in an interesting manner. We hope that in future years this will be a happy reminder of high school. ARTHUR WALTON HENRY B, COOPER I-HJMI ISTH TIU Mr. Walton came to Pitman in 1923 as principal of the newly organized high school, in which position he served until 1941, when he became supervisor of the Pitman school system. His wholehearted endeavor has been to improve the educational facilities for young people. Mr. Cooper, formerly a teacher of history in the high school, became its principal in 1941. He, too, has devoted his life to the problems of youth and has always tried to increase the opportunities offered to the students of the school. V, Mary E. Kerr Dorothy Hausmann To Mrs, Kerr and Mrs. Hausmann, our secretaries, is due much of the efficiency of the school management. Always on the job, they have solved many problems for perplexed students. .B.... ,
