May the student life of Pitkin High School be reflected in these pages. 1 Principal’s Message I wish to express my thanks to the annual staff, faculty, and school supporters who have made it possible for us to present this vivid picture of the 1968-69 school year. Your school spirit, hard work, cooperation, and devotion to duty have brought our school community to great heights. I trust that in the years to come this yearbook will hold many fond and precious memories for those whose lives are represented here. - B. R. Harvey Principal In deep appreciation for Her unselfish sacrifice, her untiring work with young people, her service to her school, church, and home, her brisk efficiency in her duties, her assistance through the years at PHS, her dedication to The Future Home- makers of America, We, the Senior Class of 1969, are proud to dedicate this year’s annual, The Tiger, to Mrs. Clara G. Spence. Dedication In Memory of ( CHARLES LESTER BEESON Every man ought to be inquisitive through every hour of his great adventure down to the day when he shall no longer cast a shadow in the sun.
