Because of the friendliness and warmness we have had toward former Superintendent T. L. Harvey and Mr. W. S. Davis, school board member, Pitkin High School wishes to dedicate this yearbook to them. Superintendent T. L. Harvey astride the tooled black leather saddle decorated with silvered chrome presented to him by W. S. Davis from the school employees and school board members of Vernon Parish. He served as superintendent of Vernon Parish Schools for twenty-four years without missing a board meeting during his entire term of service. Mr. W. S. Davis was a member of the board for the same twenty-four years and served as its president for ten years. Both of these men hold a fond place in the heart of each faculty member and we as students, feel a deep sense of loyalty and gratitude for their unselfish service to our school system.
