Seniv As the curtain descends on the final act of our high school days, we pause to remember the many things that have played an important part in the best years of our lives. We could never forget the Wise Fools of April, which we produced in our sophomore year. It was also in this year that we said, Goodbye, to our good friend, Mr. Fails. As iuniors we sponsored dances after the home football games. We presented the three- act comedy, The Mummy and the Mumps. Our prom committee worked hard planning aii the details of the Junior-Senior Prom, which was held at Edgewood Country Club on May 9 with music by Red Barr's orchestra. With our senior year came the many hectic details of preparing for graduation. This year was the busiest and most memorable one of our high school days. The seniors participated in many activities. Our concession committee sold refreshments at the football games. We held a Christmas Dance in the gym which was decorated with a huge, brightly lighted pine tree and many, many stars hanging from the ceiling. ln January we produced the Maroon and White Follies, a revue in which students from all classes participated. The Senior play, Father Was a Housewife, was also a great success. This delightful comedy was presented in April. Prom time soon was here. How fast time seemed to be flying! All too soon came our un- forgettable class day. As the students sang, where, oh where are the grand old seniors, we realized that our carefree days in high school were now iust a memory. Soon we would be out in the cold, cold world. On May 26 we re- ceived our diplomas and that thought became a reality. Although the curtain has now runq down and the play is over, we will always remember the parts that we played as students in Pitcairn High School. Senior CIMA Officem Joseph Rizzo Joe . . .
