MH. CHARLES A. BAIR Mr. Charles A. Bair, who has been the super- vising principal in the Pitcairn Schools for three years has drawn-up many new rules and regu- lations to assist in the betterment of our school system. Before corning here he was with the Hickory Township Schools for six years and the Turtle Creek Schools for seven years. Mr. Bair attended Allegheny College and received his Bachelor of Science Degree and his Master of Education from the University of Pittsburgh. MR. GEORGE A. FAILS As principal of our High School since 1932, Mr. George A. Fails has done a great deal to promote our success and welfare. He came here first in 1.928 as a teacher. Before he came to Pit- cairn he taught science for 6 years in Westmont- Upper-Yoder High School in Johnstown. Mr. Fails received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Grove City College and his Master of Edu- cation Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Retrospect 1

Kline VVe, the class of 716, wish to express our appreciation to the Board of Education, our governing body, who gave of their time and eiforts to help make Pitcairn High the pleasant and eiiicient School which it is. Our class is not unmindful of the indispensable part which the Board played in the successful consummation of our School program, and we take this occa- sion to thank the members of the Board of Education for the time and effort which they spent in making our School days worth-while. The Board bought new athletic equipment, reopened the Industrial Arts Department, purchased new books for the Library, and provided a recreational program. The Board has ordered new typewriters for the commercial classes and are negotiating a filter system, and fluorescent lights in different parts of the building.
