We look around us with open eyes and a conscious striving to comprehend. We search and leave not analley unwalked or a leaf unturned. Never once lingering or looking back, we move on. We cry, laugh, and silently watch something pass, carrying with it everyone we knew and those we didn’t. Weeping for those we should have loved, their dreams, hopes, and that God-given fragment of everything they can honestly call theirs. We mold a world and visualize eternity in a sand pebble which with the ris- ing tide, will depart and never be seen again. We look ahead, yet never forgetting where we have been, for we have lost yesterday and are not quite sure where to find tomorrow. Moving forward to that something that lies just around the next corner or over the next hill. For we shall someday be men and we shall call the world ours. “We Will Never Pass This Way c Library Ag d 99 In g 3 os Qo. In a short period of four years, he has come to mean a great deal to those he has come in contact with. Because of his great achievements, we the annual staff find great pleasure in dedicating this ninth edition of the Pisgahteer to a truly fine gentleman— Mr. Bill Dyar | ee Tea of Wd, We've had a wonderful time these twelve years — almost special. Yet the last three have meant more to us than words could ever express... but we can’t go back. We have gained an experience that means the world to us. We have shared beauti- ful moments, shattered dreams, and love. And love means the most to us for it has bound us together and made our minds and hearts inseparable. Together we have watched the storm and together we have awaited the dawn. We are one. But time is swiftly moving on and we don’t know what the future holds for us. Therefore, we would like to extend to all of you the love which has held us over the years... for we will never pass this way again... ever. In years to come, we hope you can review this book with fond- ness and recall your years at Pisgah, the people you have loved, the things you just simply couldn’t stand and always reserve a little spot in your heart for Pisgah.
